Antibes Juan-les-Pins, France, is the largest marina in Europe. Ancient Greek and then Roman city, Antibes forms with Juan-les-Pins and Cap d'Antibes, a promontory overlooking the sea, located less than 15 km south of Nice. Tourist center and resort on the Côte d'Azur, it is a city rich in history, places of interest, but especially hotels, restaurants, boutiques, night clubs. Some of them very exclusive.
The peculiarity of Antibes lies in the fact that it is one of the most exclusive resorts of the Côte d'Azur, but it is also accessible to a less luxurious traveler, with the availability of hotels and restaurants to suit all budgets.
In Antibes there are several points of interest. Starting from the Old Town, a maze of narrow streets where there are shops of all kinds and the port, Port Vauban, where all year are the most beautiful yachts moore and the Picasso Museum in the Chateau Grimaldi, the Peynet Museum and the Museum of Archaeology.
However, Antibes remains primarily a tourist resort famous for its nightlife, shops, art galleries, markets: the Marché Provençal (covered market) is open from Tuesday to Sunday, while the clothing market, Foiere, is held only on Thursdays
