At the end of Rue Mouzaia, starting from the metro station Saint-Gervais, you get to Buttes - Chaumont, a beautiful city park that dates back to the late 1800's urban renewal wanted by Baron Haussmann, but it is also a district of Paris, the XIX. The central lake is fed by the Canal Saint Martin. The park is distinctive for its cliffs, caves, waterfalls, and the Temple of the Sibyl, in the middle of a rocky island in the center of the park.
The main feature of the park is the same slope on which it was designed: at some points the height difference is more than fifty yards. The hotels in the area are in the north of the park, along Avenue Jean Jaures.
