Neustadt is a district of Dresden on the right bank of the river Elbe. This area is very well connected to the centre, and has plenty of restaurants, bars and meeting places for young people and tourists. Despite its name, in the 'new' Dresden, spared by the bombings, there are many large old houses built during the Soviet occupation.
