Nuremberg hotels near Central Station
Near the train station, Hauptbahnhof, in Nuremberg, you will find the homonymous metro station. From the station square buses scheduled in less than 15 minutes take to the airport which is near Ziegelstein. Nuremberg's Central Station is the main railway station in northern Bavaria, on the line leading from north to south between Berlin and Munich, and between east and west between Prague and Frankfurt.
From the station you can walk to the centre in a few minutes. The neo-Gothic structure has been renovated by architect Karl Zenger in early 1900, but the whole station was rebuilt after the bombing of World War II. The station is at the crossroads between the major city arteries, Marientorgraben, Frauentorgraben and Bahnhofstraße.
