Regensburg, which means village on the river Regen, is located in Bavaria. This Medieval city on the banks of the Danube, is a wondeful city that preserves its ancient history. The magnificent palaces and monuments, museums, churches, the red roofs of the houses, the towers of the twelfth and fourteenth centuries make it a jewel that has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2006.
