
Regensburg, which means village on the river Regen, is located in Bavaria. This Medieval city on the banks of the Danube, is a wondeful city that preserves its ancient history. It is also worth visiting, just outside the city, the Walhalla, a monumental neo-classical temple with the busts of the characters who made history of Germany. The Historical Museum, Historisches Museum, in the old town hall, the castle-museum in the palace of Thurn und Taxis, the Diocesan Museum, Diozäsan Museum, housed in the church of St. Ulrich.

But Regensburg is also a trendy city, where you can enjoy the many clubs, walk aimlessly through the medieval streets, watch the old shop windows and go shopping.
