City Park Hotel Nijmegen

One of the few hotels in the city centre of Nijmegen. Some of the recently renovated rooms have a view over the remains of the castle of emperor Charles the Great and over the Waal river.

The City Park Hotel is not only attractive because of its favorable position. Recently all of the rooms have been entirely renovated to a 3 Star level. The City Park Hotel has both smaller/cheaper rooms as larger/more luxurious. The rooms have no needless luxury, and the prices and quality are in good proportion. (No elevator.)

Some rooms have a view on the Valkhofpark and museum with the ruin of Karel de Grote, others have a view on the nice shopcenter of Nijmegen. The rooms are on the first, second, and third floor, which ensures a beautiful view.

Grand-café restaurant OportO is named after the Portugese port town. The Restaurant is completely redecorated in Southern-European style. The Portuguese - Mediterranean menu of OportO offers plenty of choice for lunch and diner. The chef and his kitchen staff are guaranteed to give you gastronomic surprises. You can choose between a 1 to 6 course surprise menu, à la carte, or have a 9 to 12 course menu and eat all night! We also cater to guests with special diets like vegetarians. At the restaurant you can also listen to live music every Sunday from 4:00 p.m.: Brazilian & Latin, Every last Saturday of the month: Casa de Fado; A nine course diner with live Fado music by the Quatro Ventos. You can enjoy a drink at the cozy bar in the restaurant, or in your room. The extensive breakfast buffet is served from 7:00 until 10.00 during the week and from 8:00 until 11.00 during weekends.

Please note that you can park your car free of charge in the hotel street and the immediate surroundings free of charge from 18:00 (on Thursdays from 21:00) till 09:00.
