Bled is in the northwest of Slovenia, less than 50 km from the capital Ljubljana and 35 km from Ljubljana Airport. It is a short distance from the main road between the Karavanke Tunnel and Ljubljana. · By train: Lesce – Bled railway station, which is on the route between Munich, Salzburg, Villach, Ljubljana, Belgrade, Athens and Istanbul is only 4 km from Bled. Bled - Jezero railway station is on the line between Villach, Jesenice and Nova Gorica. By bus: Regular bus services connect Bled to all major Slovenian towns and cities. By aeroplane: Ljubljana - Brnik International Airport is only 36 km away. Regular daily services operate between Ljubljana Airport and all major European hubs, mostly provided by the Slovenian national carrier Adria Airways. In addition, easyJet fly from London Stansted to Ljubljana once a day. There is a sports airfield at Lesce, only 4 km from Bled.
