The Temple Bar district, which extends on the banks of the Liffey River, takes its name from an old pub, the Temple Bar precisely. Here, there are the most famous pubs and it is the heart of the “night and day” Dublin, always full of street artists and musicians, and where there are restaurants, art and fashion galleries, cultural centres such as The Ark dedicated only to children.
The centre of Temple Bar is the Meeting House Square, which in summer became a meeting point and place where many activities take place. In Temple Bar there is the Music Centre; the Arthouse media centre, in Curved Street; the Temple Bar Art Gallery and Studios; the Irish Film Centre. In the centre of Dublin there is also the St. Stephen's Green Park, near Grafton Street. In Temple Bar, there are dozens of hotels for all budgets, from economical to 5 Star Super Luxury ones.
