Plaza de Armas is the newest of the two bus stations in the city, built during the Expo 1992. The two stations are very close, separated by the river Guadalquivir, and the Bridge of Triana. Plaza de Armas, in addition to the immense square from which buses depart and arrive from all over Spain - but also from Portugal - includes a very large building with two floors with all offices and ticket offices, but also a restaurant and several bars. Around the station and in particular in the directions of Calle de Alfonso XII to the east and Calle Marques de Parades to the south, there are many guesthouses and hotels.
