In addition to the races of World Cup skiing in January, Adelboden hosts every year in February, the Horäschlittä Rena , a slides’ competition involving hundreds of people. One of the most interesting events during this season is in late June, with the rise of the pasture Engstligenalp by hundreds cows walking the difficult path along the falls of Engstligen to reach the summer pastures. These falls are one of the most fascinating attractions of the area, along with the Choleren gorge in the torrent Tschent and Schwandfeldspitz, a lookout point at 2000 meters of altitude.
