Bristol, on the border with Wales, is one of the oldest cities in the UK. Situated on the River Avon, Bristol today is a very lively city, a strong industrial and commercial center. Bristol is also famous for the Clifton Suspension Bridge, one of the few bridges in the world with a suspended structure that was built to withstand horse carriages and is now crossed by more than 12 000 cars.
Bristol is also famous for the university: this makes it a city suited for youngsters. The accommodation offer is complete: the entire city and in the centre there are 5 star luxury hotels, but also cheaper hotels and especially many B & B.
The city is a crossroads for many businesses, so that even the hotels adapt to this target: Bristol Airport is located south west on the A38 and nearby there are many hotels suitable for business travelers.
The Bristol Temple Meads, the main train station, just south-east of the centre, is one of the areas of the city with a high density of hotels, cheap guesthouses and B & B.
